Urological Malignancies Programme co-lead Dr Brent O'Carrigan has been selected for ESMO's prestigious Leaders Generation Programme for 2023-24. Dr O'Carrigan joins talented oncologists from throughout Europe for a two year development programme that aims to "identify and nurture" future leaders in cancer.

As the UM programme's co-lead, Brent looks forward to bringing the benefits of the ESMO programme back to Cambridge: "at its heart, the Leaders Generation Programme is about people - how to be an effective leader to allow others to excel and achieve their best; thinking strategically to leverage each programme member's strengths; networking with key leaders in oncology across Europe to provide novel research opportunities for our programme members - all to further our common purpose of improving the care of patients with urological malignancies."
